DUMBO Design Day 2026 Draws Hundreds to the Neighborhood for NYCxDESIGN Week
Fresh off a New York Times feature highlighting DUMBO’s emergence as one of New York City’s leading design hubs, the neighborhood welcomed hundreds of visitors on May 20, 2026 for the second annual DUMBO Design Day as part of NYCxDESIGN Week.
More than 50 events took place across the neighborhood, including open studios, talks, exhibitions, and cocktail parties hosted by many of DUMBO’s architects, designers, artists, and creative businesses.
From the unveiling of the new DUMBO Design District logo by Snøhetta to conversations with Bjarke Ingels Group, Peterson Rich Office, Hudson Wilder, and more, the day showcased the creativity and innovation that continue to define the neighborhood.
